Dean Ambrose vs. Luke Harper – WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
This match was made earlier in the night by one-night-only Raw GM Daniel Bryan.
This one started off kind of slow, but really picked up towards the back end at a fun pace. They worked a lot better together than I thought they would.
Unfortunately, this match ended in a disqualification after Harper pushed Ambrose into the referee, who felt the Lunatic Fringe went into him intentionally.
Luke Harper wins via disqualification.
2.7 out of 5 stars – Would have been about a 3.1 or 3.2 if it wasn’t for the messy finish.
Ambrose would go onto hit Dirty Deeds on Harper into a chair. As he started pulling out the other toys, Bray Wyatt ambushed him from behind and buried him in chairs, similar to what happened at Survivor Series last night.
