Tyler Breeze and Tyson Kidd vs. Hideo Itami and Finn Balor
Itami and Balor had control early on Kidd, then Breeze, but a blind tag allowed Kidd to take over on Balor.
Kidd and Breeze did a good job of working together on Balor, until he was able to make a hot tag to Itami. The four men all battled for the next few moments, until Kidd accidentally distracted the referee, allowing Balor to hit a double foot stomp off the top rope onto Breeze’s head, before Itami followed with a kick to the back of the head before going for the cover.
Itami and Balor defeat Breeze and Kidd via pinfall.
3.5 out of 5 stars – Excellent match. By far, the most comfortable Itami has looked since the night he debuted.
Finn Balor promo
Balor told The Ascension to bring everything they have to TakeOver, because he is going to bring something that they have never seen before.
Many fans of Balor’s work outside of WWE have wondered if he will be utilizing his infamous body paint, and there is no better time to pull it out than a special event, like TakeOver.
