On Thursday night, WWE NXT presented their fourth live special on the WWE Network, TakeOver: R Evolution.
This was, possibly, the biggest show that NXT has ever presented. Sami Zayn took on Adrian Neville for the NXT Championship, with Zayn contemplating retirement if he couldn’t win; Hideo Itami teamed with Finn Balor against The Ascension, with Balor promising to show us something that we’ve “never seen before”; the debut of the man formerly called Steen, Kevin Owens; and much more.
