Breeze announced that he would finally be returning to NXT next.
Tyler Breeze vs. Chad Gable
Gable had control early, showing off his amateur background, but he was quickly overtaken by the returning Breeze.
Gable used that same amateur style to get back into the match, as he got a surprising amount of offense against Breeze, but he eventually walked right into a Beauty Shot.
Breeze defeats Gable via pinfall.
2.75 out of 5 stars – Not enough time given to this match, but Gable was impressive, and Breeze looked good in his return to TV.
Finn Balor w/ Devin Taylor
Balor said he’s excited to face Tyson Kidd, saying he’s looked up to Kidd for his whole career.
Balor said that Kidd may love cats, but he’s going to need more than nine lives to survive a match with Balor, “and that’s a fact.”
Balor making cat references for a match with Kidd. That’s all I’ve ever wanted from life.
