The Lucha Dragons vs. The Vaudevillains for the NXT Tag Team Championship

Kalisto held an early advantage over Simon Gotch, as he tagged out to Sin Cara, who kept up that advantage, until he was outmuscled by Gotch, and driven into the wrong side of the ring.

Gotch tagged out to English, and The Vaudevillains began their assault on Sin Cara. That assault didn’t last too long though, because Sin Cara was able to counter The Vaudevillains offense, bringing things to the outside, and allowing him and Kalisto to hit stereo suicide dives. NXT went to commercial with Sin Cara in control of the match.

When NXT returned, Kalisto was in the ring with English, and some great ring awareness from Gotch helped The Vaudevillains reestablish control.

In an awesome twist, instead of Kalisto building to a slow crawl for the hot tag, he hit a hurricanrana on English, and tagged out to Sin Cara while he was upside-down.

Sin Cara hit some big moves on English, including his sunset-bomb, but the pin was broken up by Gotch. Gotch was dispatched from the ring, and Sin Cara tagged out to Kalisto, allowing them to hit a big double-team move that I can’t even describe, but it looked awesome.

The Lucha Dragons defeat The Vaudevillains via pinfall.

3.5 out of 5 stars – These teams are pretty magical together. The Lucha Dragons can do some amazing things, and they definitely stay within themselves with their characters.

Meanwhile, The Vaudevillains are way out there with their characters, in a very positive way. On top of that, they can go, to put it simply.
