Brie Bella vs. Paige
Nikki was with Brie, while Natalya and Tyson Kidd were with Paige.
Paige and Brie went back-and-forth early on, with Brie having the early control, and Paige starting to take over towards the end.
Paige hit a big superkick on Brie, and Kidd climbed in the ring as she went for the cover. Kidd was a little overzealous, because Brie kicked out. Paige was distracted then by Kidd, allowing Brie to roll her up for the win.
Bella defeats Paige via pinfall.
After the match, Paige went to ringside to slap Kidd. When Kidd thought Natalya would defend him, she actually smirked and walked away.
More of an angle than a match. It was pretty well-executed. Something could be brewing between Paige and Natalya.
Bray Wyatt backstage
Wyatt said that darkness will fall on the Royal Rumble. He referred to himself as a “caged animal”.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: He talks too much. There’s no reason for a character like his to talk on every show. We should be left wondering what he’s thinking.
