Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte and Natalya
Charlotte delayed the start of the match a bit by staying in the ring to hand off the title belt to the ring announcer, despite the fact that she was starting the match on the apron. It’s a very small thing, but it’s something her dad would do and it was awesome. It prompted Lynch and Banks to yell at her and tell her to get out of the ring.
Lynch started the match against Natalya, and they traded holds early on. Things escalated quickly, and two Divas ended up trading punches, with Natalya having a decided advantage. Lynch retreated to ringside, and got a little help from Banks, but that left them prone to stereo baseball slides from Natalya and Charlotte.
Natalya and Charlotte got Lynch back in the ring and traded tags, hitting a few tag team moves. Natalya kept up the advantage when Banks tagged in, until Banks was able to counter a move in the corner, and she turned it into the knees to the midsection, with Natalya laid across the middle rope.
After the match broke down and there was some action involving all four women, Banks hit a neckbreaker on Charlotte, and followed it up with a deep cover that included her grabbing Charlotte’s tights, helping her pick up the win.
Banks and Lynch defeat Charlotte and Natalya via pinfall.
3.25 out of 5 stars – The Divas match on NXT is one of the best highlights of my week, every week.
