Bray Wyatt vs. Daniel Bryan
After the opening tie-up, Wyatt hit a few moves on Bryan, but Bryan quickly sparked an early comeback, and he went for some high-risk maneuvers, which were successful. As Bryan seemed to be in control, Kane made his entrance, and Raw went to commercial.
When Raw returned, Wyatt was in control of the match, despite a few comeback attempts from Bryan, with Kane sitting at ringside.
Wyatt just completely wore Bryan down, deliberately going after his neck, which Bryan sold very well, as Raw went to commercial again.
When Raw returned, Bryan finally got his comeback under way, and he was on a roll, as the crowd really started to get hot, especially after a suicide dive. However, as Bryan climbed back in the ring, Kane pulled his feet, behind the referee’s back, forcing Bryan to fall face-first to the apron.
Kane threw Bryan back in the ring, Wyatt threw him face-first into the turnbuckle, then hit Sister Abigail for the win.
Wyatt defeats Bryan via pinfall.
After the match, Kane continued his attack on Bryan.
3.25 out of 5 stars – The match was very good.
As for the booking, I like it, because it sets up the Bryan/Kane match on SmackDown, but that’s not something that WWE usually does, so I’m confused.
Triple H, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels, Damien X-Pacdow, X-Pac and The Miz backstage
Triple H was on the phone in his office, when Hall and Nash walked in.
They tried to get Triple H to lose the suit and run around with them for the night, then Michaels joined them.
Michaels said that Triple H should join them on the Legends Panel, so that he could get them drinks. He mockingly called him “Vince Jr.” for wearing the suit, and told him to bring “Cena’s friends” back and give them a hard time while they’re here.
Triple H made sure to mock Michaels for his hunting gear, and said that he doesn’t go where he works and tell him how to kill “defenseless animals,” which was a good line that got a reaction out of Hall and Nash as well.
Nash then wondered where X-Pac was, when a man who looked like him came in and did a bunch of crotch chops. It turned out to be Damien X-Pacdow.
X-Pac had a bit of a standoff with X-Pacdow, then ended up liking him and “hiring” him, but Miz walked in and told X-Pacdow/Mizdow to go change.
Miz then tried to “Too Sweet” one of them, but they all left him hanging, leaving Miz to tell X-Pac to “call him”, and walk away.
With The Kliq left alone, Nash wondered what kind of show Triple H is running, and Triple H buried his face in his hand and said, “I’m so ashamed.”
Hilarious segment. Miz and Mizdow were great, and you can never go wrong with The Kliq.
