Luke Harper backstage

Harper said that you can send anybody into the Royal Rumble Match on Sunday, just “don’t send anyone you want back.”

He said he’s going to take Erick Rowan out of the match tonight, by beating him in their singles match.

He asked if Rowan was scared yet, and said that he should be.

Harper’s good. It’s unfortunate that he was kept quiet for so long under Bray Wyatt.

Gold and Stardust backstage

Gold and Stardust were looking to pick their numbers, being their generally weird selves.

After picking their numbers, they both made sure that the other knew that it would be every man for himself.

It’s a shame this act never totally connected, though I’m not sure why that is.

Erick Rowan vs. Luke Harper

Rowan was all over Harper in this match, and he picked up a couple of nearfalls.

Rowan went big, going to the top to try and put Harper away, but he missed with a splash. Harper followed with a superkick and a big clothesline for the win.

Harper defeats Rowan via pinfall.

2.25 out of 5 stars – Rowan looked good, but it’s getting annoying that he never hits that top-rope splash, yet he keeps going for it.
