Roman Reigns vs. Big Show
Reigns did not back down from Show, but Show had an early advantage, using his decided size advantage.
Reigns started to come back from that beating, by countering Show, then taking him down with a chop block. Reigns then knocked Show from the ring, as SmackDown went to commercial.
When SmackDown returned, Show was back in control, and kept beating down Reigns, particularly going after his leg.
Reigns eventually got a comeback going, and worked his way back into the match.
Show did have a pretty good nearfall, when he hit Reigns with a chokeslam, but Reigns kicked out. Show then went to the top rope, but was hit with two Superman Punches, then Reigns threw him to the apron, waited for him to get up, and hit him with a spear.
Reigns defeats Show via pinfall.
2.5 out of 5 stars – Not terrible. He’s still got a very long way to go though.
Mr. McMahon backstage
Mr. McMahon made a rare on-screen appearance to hype the free month of the WWE Network, since we are on “The Fast Lane to WrestleMania,” a phrase that will never stop making me throw up.
