Rusev, Lana and John Cena promo
With Lana standing in the back, Rusev started off, as he was angrily pacing the ring.
Rusev said he should’ve won the Royal Rumble Match, then screamed in Russian, and handed Lana the mic so she could do the same thing.
Rusev took the mic back and said that he should be facing Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, because he is undefeated, and he deserves the shot at Lesnar.
Rusev said that he didn’t get Lesnar, he got a man with no titles, a man from the past, John Cena.
Rusev said that Cena is not the Superstar that he is, and called Cena a loser. That’s when Cena interrupted.
Cena said that he doesn’t always see eye-to-eye with the WWE Universe, but that they all agree that Rusev needs to shut his mouth.
Cena said that he is a 15-time world champion, two-time Royal Rumble winner, and that he is “the face that runs the place.”
Cena said that he’s been doing this for a long time, but that he is certainly not in the past, and he’s ready to go whenever Rusev is ready, and challenged him to a fight right now.
Rusev handed the mic and belt to Lana, but she told him not to waste his time on “this.” So, as they walked away, Cena said that “this” is going to fight Rusev at Fast Lane, “this” is going to beat Rusev at Fast Lane, and “this” is going to say “The Champ is Here.”
Pretty good promo. Rusev looked like a heel, making a completely baseless claim, then Cena came out and Rusev looked like he is ready to compete with WWE’s top guy.
Paige and The Bella Twins w/ Renee Young
Renee was going to interview Paige about her Divas Championship Match at WWE Fast Lane, but The Bella Twins interrupted.
They continued to mock Paige for her pale skin, before Brie rudely told Renee to leave.
Brie called Paige a “snow angel,” and Nikki called her a “blood-sucking vampire,” two comments that Paige just laughed off, before she shoved Brie, then was outnumbered by The Bella Twins, who left Paige laid out on the interview set, after a forearm from Nikki.
