Gold and Stardust vs. Dolph Ziggler and Ryback
Ryback and Ziggler completely dominated Stardust early on, until he found a way to make a tag to Goldust. Even still, the duo of Gold and Stardust couldn’t take Ryback down, but they got control of the match when Ryback charged at Stardust, and he stepped out of the way, sending Ryback shoulder-first into the ring post.
Gold and Stardust got a good bit of offense in on Ryback, until Ryback caught Stardust with a punch to the stomach, as Stardust was coming off the top rope, and Ryback got the hot tag to Ziggler.
Ziggler really got the offense going, until Stardust caught him with a Disaster Kick, and both men were down on the mat. Goldust called for a tag, once again calling Stardust “Cody.” Stardust immediately whipped his head around to look at Goldust, stood up, slapped Goldust on the chest, then walked off. Goldust looked upset as he watched Stardust walked off, and left himself vulnerable to a superkick from Ziggler, and a Shell Shocked from Ryback.
Ryback and Ziggler defeat Gold and Stardust via pinfall.
3 out of 5 stars – This was a fun tag team match. It was cool to see Ziggler and Ryback look equally good in this match, doing so against opponents that advanced their own storyline in the loss.
