Sin Cara vs. Damien Mizdow
Mizdow looked good against Sin Cara in the early going, as the match went to ringside. Mizdow threw Sin Cara back in the ring, but Miz asked Mizdow to get him a water before he went back in. Mizdow angrily obliged.
Sin Cara worked on Mizdow, until he got back into the match, with some of Miz’s signature moves.
The finish came when Mizdow went for a Figure-4, but Miz hopped up on the apron and told him not to do that move, because he made it famous. Mizdow let go of Sin Cara’s legs, allowing Sin Cara to pop up and roll Mizdow into a small package pin for the win.
Sin Cara defeats Mizdow via pinfall.
3 out of 5 stars – An average match was elevated by excellent heel mic work from The Awesome One.
Bray Wyatt backstage
Wyatt talked about what happens when we die.
He said that men of science believe that we become one with the Earth, while men of faith feel completely different about the subject.
He said that “men like us” are different, because there is no death, and Earth is “our” hell.
He said it’s time to “come home” and told whoever he is talking to to come find him.
I’ve been knocking his promos for months, because he talks in circles a bit too much for my taste. However, I think we have to start blaming this on WWE asking him to do too much.
Wyatt’s promos should be much more special than they are, but he’s guaranteed to talk on every single show. Some things are better in moderation, and that includes Wyatt’s special brand of promo.
