John Cena, Lana and Rusev promo

After taking some time to hype up the show, Cena turned his attention to Rusev, who Cena said “crushed” him last week.

Cena said he wouldn’t let this happen again. He said that Rusev is undefeated, but he’s not unstoppable. He said he wasn’t going to list his accomplishments, but that he is going to beat him on Sunday.

Cena said he didn’t need to worry about hiding his strategy, he’s just going to tell Rusev his strategy. Cena said that he’s going to take the fight to Rusev.

Cena said that people have been looking for him to change his attitude for a long time now, but his attitude is always the same, because he loves being cheered, and he loves being booed. He said he is going to walk out of Fastlane as the United States Champion.

Lana said that Cena is just saying the same thing he always says. Rusev said that he’s going to destroy Cena and everything he stands for.

Cena said he was going to fight Rusev if he made one more move, and Rusev mocking Cena’s “You Can’t See Me” taunt was all the motivation Cena needed.

Cena sprinted up the ramp and, just like last week, ignited a quick back-and-forth brawl, but this time, it ended in Cena throwing Rusev into the video board on the stage.

Cena showed a lot of aggression in this brawl, “Ruthless Aggression,” if you will. It was a nice change of pace for his character, and it got him a pretty good reaction from the crowd.
