Seth Rollins promo

Rollins talked about President’s Day, and how it has to deal with the past. He said that that’s a little bit silly, especially with the “embodiment of the future” standing right there.

Rollins spared no words when talking about how great he is, and said that he is untouchable and he can do no wrong.

Rollins also talked about people below him meddling in his business. This seemed to be a whole bunch of vague references to his incident last week, until he mentioned Erick Rowan, Ryback and Dolph Ziggler by name.

Ziggler interrupted and mocked Rollins, asking him if he had a bad Valentine’s Day.

Rollins said that Ziggler may think he’s a comedian, but that the only joke he has is his career. He said Ziggler is only half the man that he is.

Ziggler said that Rollins is right, and he’s not even half the whiny, protected douc** that Rollins is. Ziggler told J & J Security to get out of the ring, because he’s about to “Show-Off”.

Rollins was pretty funny at the beginning, and a minority of the crowd was responding with smarkness to him.

Seth Rollins vs. Dolph Ziggler

Ziggler was in control early, but when Raw returned from an early commercial, Rollins had taken over.

Rollins was in control,  and managed to maintain control, despite getting a little flustered when J & J Security got ejected for trying to attack Ziggler.

Rollins was able to keep Ziggler down, but not for long. Ziggler started to hit some big moves, igniting an exciting back-and-forth.

Ziggler avoided a curb stomp and hit a superkick, which turned Rollins right around for a Zig Zag. As Ziggler made the cover, J & J returned to break up the pin.

Ziggler defeats Rollins via DQ.

J & J continued the attack, until Ryback and Erick Rowan came running down. They cleared Rollins and Joey Mercury from the ring, but Jamie Noble attacked Rowan from behind, which did not work. Noble was surrounded by Rowan, Ziggler and Ryback, and backed right into a spinebuster from Ryback.

3.25 out of 5 stars – While I don’t want to see any more one-on-one matches between these two, there’s no doubt that they pull off some awesome matches.

These two sides appear to be headed towards a six-man tag match at Fastlane, which could end up being one of the greatest things to ever happen in a WWE ring.
