The “Big Gold Belt” was one of the most famous traditions in wrestling history. Before the title was “retired” on its own on December 16th, 2013, the title was held by some of the greatest performers in history.

For a decade, the World Heavyweight Championship was defended on the “Grandest Stage of Them All” and was usually the biggest match on each card.

Title holders such as Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Edge, Batista and The Undertaker all defended or competed for the title at WrestleMania.
