In September 2002, Triple H was awarded the World Heavyweight Championship, thanks to Raw general manager Eric Bischoff.

The Game would hold the gold for 280 days in his second title reign after losing the title at Survivor Series in November 2002 to Shawn Michaels, the man he feuded with for the latter part of the year.

After Booker T, a five-time (FIVE-TIME!) WCW Champion, won an over-the-top rope battle royal to become the number one contender for HHH’s title, the two faced off at arguably the greatest WrestleMania in history: WrestleMania XIX.

The two combatants went back-and-forth for almost 20 minutes, with The Game emerging victorious in the first World Heavyweight Championship match in WrestleMania history.
