Tyson Kidd and Cesaro pre-taped promo
Kidd and Cesaro cut a promo on The New Day.
The said that they do a lot of things better than The New Day, including clapping. They said that there’s no way that The New Day can beat them, except they said “No way,” in the same cadence as The New Day says, “New Day.”
It was pretty clever.
The New Day vs. Tyson Kidd and Cesaro
Kofi Kingston and Big E were representing The New Day.
After a short match quickly broke down, Cesaro got the win by rolling Kofi up after a European uppercut to the back of the head.
Kidd and Cesaro dfeat The New Day via pinfall.
After the match, Los Matadores got involved in a big brawl that saw Cesaro standing tall at the end, until El Torito knocked him out of the ring with a hurricanrana, and Los Matadores stood tall.
Very short match.
The post-match angle was brutal. El Torito shouldn’t be taking anybody down, unless their name is Hornswoggle. Especially a man who once lifted Big Show over his head, and held him there for a second before dumping him over the top rope.
Seth Rollins and J & J Security backstage
Rollins was going over the gameplan for his match with Randy Orton. He asked if he could count on J & J this week, but Noble felt compelled to remind him that he told them to leave last week.
Rollins got upset that Noble talked back to him and things started to get heated. Rollins ended up slapping Noble, before Mercury separated them.
Rollins threatened to fire Noble, but Noble did him one better and quit. Mercury hung around for a second, before deciding to walk out with his partner.
The crowd popped big for this. People like Mercury and Noble.
