What’s at Stake in Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match

It’s a shame that WWE didn’t follow through with Stardust’s feud with his brother, Goldust. That match had all the makings to be a must-watch at the show of shows.

It was reported that WWE pulled the plug on the feud because they felt fans didn’t care enough about it. Goldust is now pegged to join the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

But Stardust is a welcome addition to the ladder match. He’s proven his in-ring abilities time after time and he’s sure to add to the feud.

The one question surrounding him is when will he drop his persona? It was hinted at in his feud with Goldust but nothing has happened since.

Don’t expect him to win, though. It seems that WWE is more focused on Ambrose, Bryan or Ziggler – which is the right angle to take. But a loss for him isn’t that big of a deal, he’s likely to come out of the match in the same spot on the card where he is now.
