Paige and AJ Lee backstage

AJ walked up to Paige and tried to reason with her not to take Nikki Bella’s Divas Championship offer. AJ said that The Bella Twins are just trying to divide them before WrestleMania.

Paige said she completely understands and agrees with AJ, but she’s had to deal with The Bella Twins while AJ has been away, and she’s taking the title shot if Nikki’s offering.

Paige said AJ would have to be “crazy” to turn this match down, which really caught AJ’s attention. Paige moved on and wouldn’t repeat what she said, but it appeared as though The Bella Twins succeeded in dividing their WrestleMania opponents.

Nikki Bella vs. Paige for the Divas Championship

Paige was on the attack early, forcing Nikki to the outside early, as she had to regroup.

Once Nikki got back in the ring, she was firmly in control, and was, all the way up until Raw went to commercial.

When Raw returned, things were sill in Nikki’s favor, until a double-clothesline resulted in a double-down, followed by Paige’s comeback clotheslines.

Nikki fought back though, and looked for a devastating forearm, but Paige ducked under and hit a big superkick for a nearfall.

Nikki blocked a RamPaige and went for a Rack Attack, but Paige rolled out of that and was able to hit the RamPaige, but Nikki kicked out.

The match spilled to the outside, and AJ ran over to take out Brie to make sure the odds stayed even. Paige went to talk to AJ, but AJ swung a wild elbow, thinking it was Nikki. Nikki hit Paige with a forearm, before sending her into the ring for a Rack Attack, as AJ looked on horrified.

After the match, AJ climbed in the ring, but Paige immediately jumped her, as they brawled before being separated by the referee.

3 out of 5 stars – Excellent match. Great way to build some anticipation ahead of the tag team match on Sunday.
