We are merely a few short hours away from the biggest show of the year, WrestleMania. This momentous occasion is always a highlight of the wrestling calendar due to its historical impact, spectacle and display. It is the greatest example of WWE mixing with popular culture, as singers, sportsman and celebrities love to be part of this incredible event. Last year’s example produced an excellent collection of matches, the shock of the Undertaker’s Streak coming to an end at the hands of Brock Lesnar, and the ultimate feel good ending of Daniel Bryan standing tall with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
This year’s event then has a great deal to live up to, but the strength of this card seems to be up to the task. In the main event, Brock Lesnar will defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Roman Reigns, with Paul Heyman lurking in the corner of the Beast. Sting competes in his first ever match in a WWE ring when he battles Triple H. And the Undertaker makes his long-awaited return following his devastating loss last year, as he faces Bray Wyatt.
On the rest of the undercard, Rusev goes to war with John Cena over the United States Championship, and the Intercontinental Championship is defended in a seven-man ladder match. Randy Orton finally gets Seth Rollins in a one-on-one match, and The Bella Twins will take on the team of AJ Lee and Paige. And that is just the main show, as the Kickoff Show additionally features a Tag Team Championship Fatal Four-Way match, and the annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
