Making John Cena vs. Rusev III a Russian Chain Match is a unique stipulation. We haven’t seen this stipulation used in years. However, with WWE acquiring a more casual fan base (due to how they’ve sold their product), is the crowd going to be into this? The hardcore fans will, but fans in attendance may have no idea what a Chain Match entails (the winner has to touch all four corners of the ring first). Therefore, they may not give much of a reaction.

There’s also a chance of this being a letdown since fans have seen this before. Plus, Rusev has already been pinned, so that may take away from the big fight feel of the match.
