Dolph Ziggler secured a singles’ pay-per view victory on Sunday night with his victory over Sheamus. Despite the victory, it was Ziggler who wound up kissing the arse of Sheamus.

Dolph Ziggler is the most talented entertainer on the WWE main roster but that doesn’t change the fact that Ziggler needs to bolt from the WWE.

Ziggler has had an interesting career with the WWE. In a sense, Ziggler has been the perfect soldier for the WWE. Ziggler was a member of the Spirit Squad faction before emerging as a single’s competitor that, simply put, stole shows. Ziggler is a former WWE Heavyweight Champion but injuries have been the reason why WWE has refrained from putting Ziggler back into the main-event status.

But the perfect soldier eventually grew frustrated and began speaking out against his commanding officers.

Because of that fact, Ziggler has been plagued with the mid-card status. Plagued in the sense that his talent, both in the ring and on the microphone, is worth main-event status but WWE does not want to take that risk considering his history with concussions and speaking out.

Ziggler has been outspoken about his role within the WWE in the past and those thoughts re-emerged over the course of the past week.

Speculation after that tweet was that Ziggler was preparing to leave the WWE after the Extreme Rules pay-per view. Ziggler seemed to ignite that speculation further with a tweet before his match with Sheamus on Sunday night.

As for the match, Ziggler surprisingly defeat Sheamus. But, it was not Ziggler who got his arse kissed by Sheamus. Instead, it was Ziggler kissing the arse of Sheamus after the match. The ending to Ziggler’s match with Sheamus is indicative of one of the reasons why Ziggler needs to bolt from the WWE.
