WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match
Seth Rollins (c) vs. Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns vs. Dean Ambrose
– If Rollins loses, Kane is fired from The Authority.

Result: Seth Rollins defeated Randy Orton, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose via pinfall to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars

J&J Security pulled out Reigns and Ambrose to begin the match. This led to big brief brawl before we got Reigns and Rollins in the ring.

Ambrose would come out of nowhere and hit an elbow, only for Orton to join the fray and brawl with The Lunatic Fringe.

Ambrose and Reigns would start partnering together to beat down Rollins. However, Kane interfered and attacked the two former Shield members. This means Kane is taking Rollins’ side.

Rollins and Ambrose would take the next turn in the ring. As Dean went for Dirty Deeds, Kane ran in and choke-slammed him. Rollins would get a near-fall from this. Reigns and Orton would attack Kane after this.

The Viper would finally work his way back in and brawl with Rollins for awhile.

Outside of the ring, Ambrose, Reigns and Rollins would hit the triple power bomb on Orton! Rollins would think that they were reuniting The Shield, but Reigns and Ambrose knew better so they beat him down.

Ambrose and Reigns would then team up and hit two power bombs on Kane through the announcer table. This got a huge reaction from the crowd.

This led to Reigns and Ambrose squaring off in the ring and putting on a fun, friendly, hard-hitting contest. Ambrose would nearly get a quick rollup and Reigns nearly got one off a Superman punch!

Reigns would hit a huge spear on Ambrose and looked like he won. However, Rollins pulled him off.

Ambrose would hit Dirty Deeds on Rollins and looked like he could win, but Kane pulled him away. Kane would attack both Ambrose and Reigns.

Orton would finally make his way back up and hit two huge RKO’s on J&J. He then planted Rollins with a big DDT.

Kane would finally make his way back to the ring and cause a distraction. He would get RKO’d but Rollins came back quickly with a Pedigree on Orton for the pinfall victory.

Rob’s Note: Wow, what a match. This blew away everything else we saw during the night. The drama, the excitement, the thrills, it was all there. This may have been overbooked, but it was overbooked to perfection.

This should also be the end of whether Kane is on the side of The Authority or not. Hopefully that storyline is over.
