Cena starts with getting a U-S-A chant going.

He says everyone has received a shot with no questions asked. He then says the US Title is “our” championship and welcomes out the next person.

Kevin Owens. That is not a typo. Kevin Owens.

Owens gets on the microphone and says Sami Zayn was hurt before he accepted Cena’s challenge. Owens claims he was the one to hurt him and he will finish it at NXT TakeOver.

Cena goes to say he wants to give some veteran advice but Owens cuts him off. He says he’s been around for 15 years and doesn’t need to hear what he says. Cena would challenge him for the US Title but Owens rejected because he has the NXT Title.

Owens says Cena doesn’t know him well enough and just as he starts walking away, he attacks Cena and hits a pop-up powerbomb on him.

Rob’s Note: Kevin Owens just got a large chunk of time on the microphone and came out on top over John Cena on Monday Night Raw in his “debut.” Must I say anything else to convince you how much WWE loves him?
