WWE SmackDown Review: Bray Wyatt vs. Dean Ambrose
By Evan Gomes
The road to Elimination Chamber continues this week on SmackDown!
With not much time until the next special, Elimination Chamber on the WWE Network, there is more pressure than normal on Smackdown to advance storylines and progress rivalries heading into the show. Find out all that happened on SmackDown this week with DailyDDT’s Smackdown review.
Reigns, Ambrose, & Kane Segment
Roman Reigns starts the show by addressing the fans. He says he didn’t win at Payback, but any day you get to punch Seth Rollins in the mouth is a good time. Roman says he’s entering the Money in the Bank ladder match and he’s going to win. Dean Ambrose comes out next and says he won’t be in the Money in the Bank match because he’ll be WWE World Heavyweight champ by then. Reigns then gives Dean props for outsmarting Seth and tells him one day he should actually think of an exit strategy.
Of course, Kane comes out because it’s SmackDown. He says the Authority always wins, and Reigns asks him how he knows considering he is always on his back. Good tough talk from Reigns. Kane announces that Ambrose will get a rematch with Wyatt tonight in the main event, and that Reigns gets the night off to “reflect on his failures”. A decent opening that showed off how Reigns is starting to hone his character more and sets up our main event.
