WWE Elimination Chamber 2015: Preview and Predictions

Champion vs Champion match: Kevin Owens (NXT Champion) vs John Cena (United States Champion)
Preview: When Kevin Owens answered John Cena’s open challenge two weeks ago on RAW, the majority of NXT fans proceeded to lose their minds. Owens has been amazing since entering WWE and his promos about John Cena and his attack two weeks in a row on Mr. Hustle Loyalty Respect have made him even more popular. There is also the means of how Owens got his match with Cena (by talking with the Authority) that has people salivating about him joining HHH and Rollins on the main roster. First, he’ll have his main roster debut against the Face That Runs the Place.
Prediction: John Cena very rarely loses clean, but Owens has been on a tear between his work in NXT and his brief time on the main roster. There are two real options here: Owens goes over due to some outside interference from someone like the Authority, or Cena goes over due to a distraction from someone else like Samoa Joe. With no titles on the line, I’m going to go with the first option. It may be wishful thinking, but Owens goes over Cena with some outside help.
