Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars

Bell-to-Bell Time: 20:15

This is going to be a lot of fun.

Owens would begin with the upper hand on Cena. After a bulldog from Mr. HLR, the NXT Champion quickly regained control.

While Owens was dominating, we got a short “NXT” chant.

Owens would get Cena into a hold and keep him controlled. The US Champion would fight back and go for an AA. Owens would counter and hit a DDT for a near-fall.

As Owens was show-boating, Cena nearly got a surprise rollup pinfall. However, the former ROH Champion quickly regained control.

Cena would finally get up and start trading punches with Owens. Cena would start his shoulder tackle parade until Owens stopped and slammed him. He hit a cannonball for a near-win.

Cena would finally get in some offense and go on a shoulder tackle parade. He would line up Owens and hit the five-knuckle shuffle.

As Owens got up, he threw Cena into the ropes and hit the pop-up powerbomb! However, Cena kicked out. He’s the first one to have kicked out following this move.

Owens would then go for a moonsault from the top rope but missed. Cena would hit the AA but Owens kicked out!

They would start trading blows until Owens took advantage with a superkick. While Cena was down he would mock his “You can’t see me” gesture but would be placed into the STF.

Owens would get out of hit and successfully hit the AA on Cena. Wow!

Cena would get up and hit a big tornado DDT but failed to get the pin. Cena would go back to the top rope, hit Owens with a leg-drop and miss the pin again.

Owens would then hit a move that somewhat looked like the package piledriver he made famous in ROH.

Owens began clobbering Cena until he fought back. Cena would hit the springboard stunner but fail to get the pin.

Cena would pick up Owens and go for a superplex but Owens countered with his own! He then launched himself for a senton but nearly missed the pinfall.

Cena would come back and obliterate Owens with a clothesline.

As Cena went for a move off the ropes, Owens would pick him up and slam him with a pop-up powerbomb for the win.

Owens would get on the microphone and say that everyone knows who he is now. He says now that he’s beaten Cena, he has some veteran advice: “it’s time for him to go because his time is way up.”

Rob’s Note: Unbelievable match. Welcome to the main roster, Kevin Owens.
