Seth Rollins Backstage
Jamie Noble says they forgive Rollins and would be honored to be in his corner tonight and at MITB. Rollins gets frustrated and says he made J&J relevant. He calls them morons and blames them for Ambrose having his title. Noble then tells Rollins off and says he would be nowhere without them. Rollins makes a match between him and Noble and Joey Mercury for tonight.
Mercury would finally talk and say they’re going to beat Rollins tonight.
This was a great segment and I’m actually looking forward to this.
Kane vs. Dolph Ziggler
Result: Kane defeats Dolph Ziggler via pinfall.
Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars
The match would start quickly with the two trading offense. Lana would watch from the entrance ramp.
Kane would take control with a big punch, hold and a few stomps. Ziggler would regain with a hit and near-fall.
Before break we see Kane taking Ziggler out with a big boot to the face.
We come back to see the two trading hits before Ziggler hit a Fameasser. Kane would set up for a chokeslam until Dolph caught him with a superkick.
Rusev would come out on crutches and start taunting Lana. She would fall off the stage and seemingly hurt her ankle.
While Ziggler was distracted, Kane hit a chokeslam for the win.
Rob’s Note: Nothing special of a match but at least Rusev is keeping this storyline alive.
