Kevin Owens vs John Cena
Preview: John Cena gets his second crack at Kevin Owens after Elimination Chamber where Owens beat the Face that Runs the Place clean in his first match on the main roster. Owens wants to expose the lies that Cena says to kids, including Owens’ own seven year old son. While this is a familiar theme in Cena feuds (see the Wyatt feud, Kane getting him to “embrace the hate”) this one is different. There is no supernatural element or demonic sounding children; just Owens wanting to beat up Cena one more time, and Cena wanting revenge.
Prediction: I have no issue in saying that this match has a really high bar set for it after Elimination Chamber. I also have no issue in saying that it will probably match it. It’s hard to see Cena losing clean twice in a row to a man fresh to the roster, even if they are pushing him to the moon. I see a Cena win after some distraction/interference (Samoa Joe, anyone?)
