ZZ tried to channel his humor and charisma into his “American Hero” character, but the coaches and judges felt it just showed a lack of effort. His second attempt once he was in the bottom three was better, and the judges and universe do love his charisma, but he really needs to step up. He can’t keep being saved by the fan voting.
