WWE Raw Review: Brock Lesnar Crushes, NXT Women Take Over
Brock Lesnar with Paul Heyman
Heyman introduces Lesnar and talks about all that his client did last week.
Heyman plays up how it’s rare to see Lesnar be a challenger going into a match. He brings up Lesnar defeating The Rock at SummerSlam 2002 for the WWE Championship, beating Randy Couture in UFC and last year’s annihilation of John Cena at SummerSlam. He says he would have been the champion coming out of WrestleMania if not for Seth Rollins.
Heyman says Lesnar will beat up Rollins at WWE Battleground until the champ himself comes out with Kane.
Rollins says he’s going to wipe the smile of Lesnar’s “stupid face.” He calls Lesnar a coward for his actions from last week.
Rollins calls the destroyed car a symbol of what Lesnar thinks he’s going to do to him at Battleground. Rollins calls himself “everything that’s right” about WWE.
Lesnar then grabs the mic and says “I can take you to Suplex City tonight, b***ch.”
Kane announces there’s going to be a contract signing for the match tonight. He begins to threaten Lesnar, to which Heyman mocks him and calls him “Undertaker’s baby brother.” He continues to go on about Kane’s family. Heyman says “what can possibly go wrong at a contract signing?”
Rob’s Note: Heyman doing the usual, which is great. Rollins was solid here as well.
