John Cena (c) vs. Rusev

Result: Rusev defeats John Cena via disqualification. However, Cena retains the WWE United States Championship.

Cena went after an exhausted Rusev and took him down with a hold.
Cena knocked him down with a slam for a near-fall.
Mr. HLR hit his usual pre-five knuckle shuffle slam (and the FKS) on him. He then picked up Rusev for an AA but got reversed into The Accolade.
After Cena tried getting out of it, Rusev put it on again. Owens then ran out and caused a DQ. He pop-up powerbombed Rusev and yelled at Cena.

Kane and Seth Rollins Backstage

Rollins asks if everything’s set up and Kane says it’s under control. Rollins says if this plan doesn’t work, it’s “on you.”
