Sasha Banks (c) vs. Charlotte

Result: Sasha Banks defeats Charlotte via submission to retain the NXT Women’s Championship.

Rating: 3.7 out of 5 stars

Banks and Charlotte start throwing each other around the ring to open the match.
Charlotte eventually takes over with a lock around Banks’ head, tossing her around.
Sasha would connect with double knees to the stomach to go ahead.
We come back to see Sasha nearly getting a pinfall and mocking the “WOO” and strut. Great stuff.
While on the ground, Sasha put on the straight jacket submission, putting pressure on Charlotte’s arms and back.
After Sasha continued with her head lock on Charlotte, she was picked up and powerbombed!
The two began trading elbows until Charlotte took control and nearly scored a pin.
Sasha would fight out of a suplex and try a backslide for a pin.
After Sasha tried mocking her again, Charlotte came back with furious punches and a big boot.
After an attempted figure four, Sasha rolled her into a small package for a near-fall.
Sasha tried mocking her again but Charlotte put on the figure four. Sasha grabbed the ropes but Charlotte pulled her onto the ropes to continue the hold!
The two began trading pins until Sasha put on Bank Statement and picked up the win.

The two hugged after the match.

Rob’s Note: Awesome bout. Hopefully they get their chance at WrestleMania one on one sometime in the future.
