Who will emerge victorious at Battleground?

Battleground is tonight from St. Louis, Missouri, and the WWE World Heavyweight championship is on the line as Brock Lesnar challenges Seth Rollins. John Cena defends his US title against Kevin Owens, and lots more. Who will walk out of Battleground with heads held high? We offer up some predictions for the event.

Kick Off Match: King Barrett vs R-Truth

Preview: This match seems to have happened about 30 times before, but we get the blow off to this feud on the pre-show for Battleground. R-Truth has laid claim to being the real “king” of WWE since he beat Barrett after his King of the Ring win. Barrett has not found Truth’s antics as “King What’s Up” nearly as entertaining as the rest of us, and wants to shut him up permanently.

Prediction: It would be absolutely destructive for Barrett as a character to lose to Truth. R-Truth has his purpose as one of the best comedy characters in WWE to consistently get audience reaction. Barrett would never recover from losing the King gimmick so early, especially to Truth. Barrett is the pick here, because if he isn’t he may as well not be in WWE anymore.
