WWE Raw Review: Seth Rollins vs. John Cena

Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Seth Rollins came to the ring to open Raw.

Triple H begins with teasing a “massive announcement” and says this year’s SummerSlam will be bigger than ever. He announces the show will be four hours.

The Game says Big Show will go head to head with Dean Ambrose. Stephanie announces Paige vs. Sasha Banks. Trips announces Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens. Stephanie announces a Divas tag match.

Seth Rollins talks about his Battleground match with Brock Lesnar and says he walked out WWE WHC, as he predicted. He tells the fans to admit he’s one of the greatest WWE WHC’s ever.

John Cena would come out and call Rollins a joke. He directs his focus to Triple H and Stephanie. He puts over tonight being a night of “first time ever” and asks if Rollins can become a man. Cena says he can do this by putting the WWE WHC on the line in a match tonight.

Rollins demands Cena to shut up. Stephanie cuts him off and asks the fans if they want this, leading to a huge ovation. She says no to Cena and the fans, so this won’t happen. Triple H then makes Rollins vs. Cena for the U.S. Championship.

Rob’s Note: This started out kind of slow but picked up when Cena came out. Stephanie telling Cena no to a WWE WHC match later tonight was hilarious. If you didn’t see her reaction, go look it up once Raw concludes.

This appears to be a night of firsts so here we go.
