NJPW G1 Climax Day Six Review
Hiroshi Tanahashi, Tetsuya Naito and Michael Elgin vs. AJ Styles, Bad Luck Fale and Tama Tonga
Result: Hiroshi Tanahashi, Tetsuya Naito and Michael Elgin defeats. AJ Styles, Bad Luck Fale and Tama Tonga via pinfall.

Tanahashi and Tonga began this. The two kept trying to square up until Tonga took over. However, Tanahashi countered with two quick arm drags and a hold. He slap tagged in Naito, which annoyed him. Naito defeated Tanahashi on day five.
Naito didn’t look amused until Styles pushed him. The former quickly tagged in Elgin, who hit s long suplex on Styles.
Fale came in and Elgin tried to barrel him over but it didn’t work. He tried picking him up but that failed as well. Fale would barrel him over with a shoulder tackle.
Styles came back in and went for a dropkick but got caught by Elgin, who tossed him. Tanahashi came in and went to work on Styles. He hit a splash for a one count.
Tonga came in and dropped Tanahashi with a dropkick for a near-fall.
Fale entered and put Tanahashi on the top rope. Styles tagged in and knocked him out of the ring. He would get a near-fall.
The assault on Tanahashi continued until he was able to get Fale off his feet.
Naito would tag in and go to work on Tonga. Things then broke down with everyone attacking each other.
Bullet Club would all try to attack Naito but failed. Naito hit a slam for a win.
Rob’s Note: A solid, star-studded match. This was fun and could have been longer but it set up the one on one matches well.
It should be noted that Elgin was scheduled to wrestle against Shinsuke Nakamura later in the show. However, the latter is hurt and it looks like he won’t be wrestling, yet.
