AJ Styles and The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) vs. War Machine (Hanson & Raymond Rowe)
Result: AJ Styles and The Young Bucks defeat War Machine via pinfall.
The match starts as a regular tag team match between the Young Bucks and War Machine. War machine begin on the offense pushing back the Bucks. They soon throw Nick Jackson out of the ring crashing into his brother Matt. However, the Bucks land a pair of super kicks on War Machine on the outside.
The Bucks bring the action back into the ring landing a double moonsault and then a double superkick on Hanson sending him to the outside. Nick Jackson then does a front somersault over the top rope landing on both Hanson & Rowe. However, Nick seems to have tweaked his leg and hes rolling on the ground in pain.
AJ Styles runs down to the ring to check on his injured Bullet Club brother while War Machine begins to double team Matt Jackson. War Machine begin to do quick tags, Matt Jackson tries to fight back but is cut down by another double team move by War Machine.
AJ Styles then decides to replace Nick Jackson in the match and tags himself in. AJ explodes on Rowe and hits a surplus of offensive moves until he inadvertently knocks out the referee. War Machine take back control until all of the sudden Nick Jackson returns into the ring and super kicks both members of War Machine. AJ then hits the styles clash on Rowe for the pin fall victory.
Jay’s Note: Very fun opener. The Bucks are always exciting to watch, and might be the best tag team in the world right now. War machine really worked well with the Bucks fast pace style, which was a positive surprise. Adding AJ Styles in the match was a nice factor too. The crowd was totally behind The Bullet Club, and this fast paced opener turned out to be a fun match to sit through.
