Rating: 3.8 out of 5 stars

Owens and Cesaro began arguing until Orton nearly tried hitting an RKO. Orton and Cesaro would briefly work together until the former went for a pinfall.

Cesaro would go for a pin on Owens but turn it into an almost-Swing. He hit a big uppercut on the former NXT Champion. Orton then picked up Cesaro for a T-Bone suplex for a near-fall. He then hit one on Owens to throw him out of the ring.

Orton then went for his trademark DDT but Cesaro slipped out of it. He escaped the ring and Owens came back in for a near-fall on Orton. He would continue his assault on Orton with mocking his pose and punching him. Orton came back with a clothesline and kick to the gut.

Cesaro would come back in and toss out Orton. He would go for another punch but Orton threw him onto the barricade. Orton then threw Owens into the barricade. Owens then dropped Cesaro onto the barricade and Orton did the same to the former.

In the ring, Orton suplexed Owens for a near-fall.

Cesaro began uppercutting Orton until Owens came in with uppercuts of his own to Cesaro. He dumped him out of the ring and brawled with Orton.

Cesaro came back with a cross-body off the top rope for a near-fall. He began trading punches with Orton until Cesaro put him into the Cross-face. He would break the hold by leaving the ring. Owens then hit a big flip over the ropes onto the two men to send us to break.

We come back to see Owens in control of Cesaro. He then hit a Cannonball for a near-fall. He then climbed to the top rope but got punched by Orton. Owens headbutted him and Cesaro hit a dropkick with Owens still on the top.

Orton and Cesaro then climbed to the top rope and suplexed Owens off for a near-fall as Orton pulled off Cesaro. This led to a brief stare down that resulted in Orton going Swinging! He then locked in the Sharpshooter. Owens would almost be put into the Swing but countered with a near-fall.

Orton came back in and hit a powerslam on Owens. With both Owens and Cesaro on the ring apron, Orton hit the double DDT!

Orton then went for the RKO on Cesaro but it got countered. Owens hit a fall away slam on Orton into the barricade. Cesaro then flew over the ropes onto Owens.

Back in the ring, Cesaro hit a cross-body but Owens turned it into a near-fall. Cesaro would launch an uppercut off the ropes for a near-fall of his own.

Cesaro then put Owens on the top rope and the two exchanged punches. Cesaro would set up a gut-wrench suplex but fell off. He went for a senton but Cesaro put up the knees. Owens then hit a superkick. Orton would come up and RKO both men for the win.

Rob’s Note: This was a great match, no doubt about it. But I hate to say WWE missed a gigantic opportunity here with Owens and Cesaro. One of them could have gone onto the title match and the one who wasn’t involved could have cost the other the match. WWE went with Orton here, which is alright but we just saw this multiple times during the spring.

Dean Ambrose Backstage

Ambrose says he never really had friends as a kid. He says as he got older he made a friend, leading to Roman Reigns coming in and saying he was Ambrose’s first friend. Reigns and Ambrose say Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper wouldn’t do enough for each other. They then say how they know each other so well.
