William Regal Backstage

Regal is asked about Kevin Owens’ comments about the NXT Championship match being a ladder match. He says he won’t give into his demands but he talked to Finn Balor, who said he’d agree to it. Regal confirms the stipulation.

Tye Dillinger vs. Solomon Crowe

Result: Tye Dillinger defeats Solomon Crowe via pinfall.

Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars

This was the debut of Dillinger’s “Perfect 10” gimmick.

Dillinger locked up Crowe’s arm for awhile until the latter locked in Dillinger’s arm. Dillinger then begins to showboat with putting up ten fingers multiple times. Crowe interrupted this, chopped him and sent him flying with a head scissors.

Dillinger then dodged a move from Crowe and took control. He stomped on Crowe and stuck up ten fingers again.

Dillinger then pulled down his left knee pad but Crowe came in with a few punches. Crowe then planted Dillinger with a cutter. Mr. Perfect 10 then hit a knee to the face for the win.

Rob’s Note: This “Perfect 10” gimmick could work, I guess. Can’t see it getting anywhere far, though.
