Stephanie and Triple H welcomes Seth Rollins out.

Rollins thanks Triple H and Stephanie for the warm intro. He thanks them for putting on what he says will be the greatest SummerSlam of all-time.

Rollins says it is a special time to be a member of the WWE Universe, unless you’re a fan of the Twins (they’re in Minnesota). He says everyone will be a witness to when he will defeat John Cena for the titles. Rollins then hesitates when he goes to sign the contract.

The fans start chanting about Cena and Rollins makes a Bob Dylan reference to it “Times, they are a changin’.” He says Cena has stood atop of the mountain of WWE but it’s time for someone to knock him off because he’s hurt everyone who has (pretty much true). He calls Cena a villain for holding the fans hostage for the last decade.

Rollins then calls Cena a disease. He says with one knee to the bridge of his nose, he shattered his face into a million pieces. He says he began the process of knocking down Cena and calls himself “the cure.”

Rollins says he will crush Cena’s legacy like he crushed his face. He says Cena isn’t a man and can’t answer the challenge face to face. Cena then comes out.

Cena says he will not have a seat and starts listening to the fans chanting at him. He says everyone is chanting Cena’s name but no one is chanting for Rollins. He says the champ is here. He calls Rollins a cheap imitation of himself.

Cena makes fun of Rollins’ shirt and mockingly says no one has done that before. He says Triple H chose Rollins to be the guy and provided him with every tool to succeed. Cena then says he’s the real champ and is here.

Cena says he heard the talk about him not being at SummerSlam. He says he may break Rollins’ knee, arm or nose in retaliation. He says what he does to Rollins will haunt him for the rest of his life.

Cena says he will become the WWE WHC for the 16th time at SummerSlam. He turns to Triple H and says when Rollins loses, it will hurt him because he was handed the reigns from Ric Flair. He says the one difference here is that Triple H was never Flair’s “b****.” He says he’s going to make Rollins his on Sunday.

Rob’s Note: That was some promo from both sides. Makes you wonder if or how Triple H gets involved in this on Sunday night.
