Kevin Owens vs Cesaro
Result: Owens def. Cesaro by pinfall (Pop-Up Powerbomb)

The match almost immediately goes to the outside and Owens hits a senton over the top rope. He starts running his mouth but while he is distracted Cesaro hits a corkscrew dive onto Owens on the outside. Inside the ring Cesaro hits a cross body and a double foot stomp onto Owens. Owens hits a cannonball on the outside and takes control of the match in the ring.
Owens tries to wear down the Swiss Superman, and as Cesaro starts to fight back Owens nails a spinning neckbreaker. Owens hits a front flip leg drop onto Cesaro’s head but only gets a two count. Owens keeps shoving Cesaro and tells him to stay down, but once he slaps Cesaro the Swiss fighter comes back with a flurry of slaps and punches. Owens goes out to the apron to catch his breath tries to go to the top rope. Cesaro grabs him up there for a huge gutwrench suplex off the top for a two count.
Cesaro attempts the Neutralizer, but when he can’t get him up he just lays into Owens with uppercuts. He tries again but gets a backdrop instead. Owens manages to leap off the second rope for a tornado DDT out of nowhere, which nets him a two count of his own. Owens goes for a moonsault but Cesaro manages to avoid it. Cesaro starts trying his run of corner uppercuts, but Owens catches Cesaro with a massive superkick.
After the close count Owens goes for the Pop-Up Powerbomb and instead gets a springboard uppercut from Cesaro. Cesaro hits a running uppercut outside the ring and then rolls Owens back into the ring and hits him with ten swings with the giant swing. Cesaro locks in his partner Tyson Kidd’s signature Sharpshooter. KO manages to get a hand to the ropes just in time.
Both men go to the top rope and Owens goes for his top rope hook superplex, and after knocking Cesaro onto the rope, manages to hit it. KO whips Cesaro into the ropes for a Pop-Up Powerbomb and connects. KO covers Cesaro for the 3 count.
Evan’s Note: This match was simply about who was the better wrestler. Both men put on a solid clinic of wrestling and pulled out tons of moves from their repertoire. The feeling of this card (and really, this whole weekend) has been people going out and saying “top that.” This match was another one that was just a great battle between two competitors.
