It’s announced that next week will also have Balor and Joe vs Lucha Dragons, which could be a tremendous match.
Jason Jordan and Chad Gable vs. Solomon Crowe and Neville
Result: Jason Jordan and Chad Gable defeat Solomon Crowe and Neville via pinfall.
Rating: 3.2 stars out of 5 stars
Crowe starts off against Gable with a tremendous show of chain wrestling that ends with Gable catching Crowe with a backslide for a two count. Jordan faces off against Neville and grounds The Man That Gravity Forgot with some holds and wrestling takedowns. Neville backflips out of a german suplex and hits a series of kicks. Gable and Jordan both get sent to the outside as we go to a break.
Back from break and Crowe is in the ring getting hit with an assortment of suplexes. Jordan and Gable use quick tags to isolate Crowe. Gable waves his towel in front of Crowe’s face like a bullfighter and Jordan charges at Crowe and takes him out. Gable gets cooled off using his towel and Crowe rolls back in to the ring at the count of 8. Jordan locks Crowe in a chin-lock, but Solomon manages to make it to the ropes.
Crowe manages to get the hot tag to Neville after escaping the Bow and Arrow. Neville takes out both Gable and Jordan using a series of kicks and a pair of standing enziguries. Neville sets up Jordan for the Red Arrow but Gable pulls him out of the ring. Neville manages to hit a moonsault to the outside on Jordan, and Crowe hits a suicide dive to Gable, taking him out. Back in the ring Neville goes off the top rope but gets caught by Jordan. Crowe tags himself in and attempts to get some more offence in but is caught by an overhead belly to belly by Jordan. Jordan and Gable hit the assisted german suplex to get the win.
Evan’s Note: We got a well contested match between an established tag team and a pairing of a guy doing well on the main roster and another struggling to find his place in developmental. Crowe looked good here and will hopefully get a major singles feud soon. Gable and Jordan looked fantastic, and remind me (and others) so much of the World’s Greatest Tag Team. I hope they continue their steady rise.
