3. John Cena Injured Again?

After suffering a broken nose against Seth Rollins that required surgery, and at one point threatened to rule John Cena out of SummerSlam, it looked like he may have really hurt himself in a house show match with Kevin Owens.

Watch the video attached to the tweet below, to me that looks like Cena overshot the move and then he was in the hands of Owens not to really hurt him.

In the last few months, Cena has started using a few new moves in his arsenal. Many people have commented on the addition of the springboard stunner into his matches. Even Steve Austin lambasted him for using it as a set up move. I’m not against him adding moves to his repertoire, after many years of using what looked like only around 5 moves in his matches. What isn’t great is to see them done pretty sloppily. It wouldn’t take a lot to spend a couple of days practicing them at the Performance Center, would it?

The company stopped people using certain moves after numerous injuries, the piledriver being one of the most high-profile. Now only a small handful of men, including the Undertaker, are allowed to use that move. Seeing that decision being taken only goes to show you how dangerous it really can be in that ring. It’s time for Cena to either stop using the new moves or at least practice them until he can actually do them right.
