Mr. Money in the Bank becomes Mr. WWE World Heavyweight Champion

WrestleMania 31 was Seth Rollins’ night.

Not only did Rollins shock the world in the main event, he had what was the match of the night earlier in the show against Randy Orton. Rollins and Orton went toe-to-toe in the middle of the card for over 13 minutes, and the action was great. Despite the loss to Orton, Rollins once again proved that his time at the top was coming.

He didn’t have to wait much longer.

In the main event, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar was set to face the 2015 Royal Rumble winner Roman Reigns for the gold. Lesnar to Reigns to “Suplex City” throughout the entire match, but as Reigns clawed his way back into the match, and appeared close to winning his first world title, something happened.

As both men laid motionless in the ring, Seth Rollins’ music hit and Mr. Money in the Bank came flying to the ring. It was his time. He was doing it. Rollins cashed in during — not after, DURING — the main event, Reigns speared Lesnar, Rollins hit the Curb Stomp on Reigns, and Seth Rollins became WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
