What’s next for Monday Night Rollins?
It’s clear that Seth Rollins is the best thing going for WWE right now. But, like all those before him, his reign on top could be coming to close.
Rollins leaving Night of Champions with one, let alone both titles, would seem like a surprise to many. The nostalgic moment of seeing Sting winning WWE gold, John Cena winning a title because of course, and Sheamus hinting around cashing in his briefcase a la Rollins this spring, are all factors heading towards Sept. 20.
Personally, seeing Sting win the gold from Rollins would be one heck of a moment, but let’s be honest: Sheamus will get a title reign and Cena’s due to tie Ric Flair for the most world title reigns ever at some point in the coming months.
There’s no telling if the Sting-Undertaker dream showdown will ever happen, but we know for sure that Seth Rollins is a major league star in wrestling. The dual champion was just named as the No. 1 overall wrestler in Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s Top 500 list, and in typical Rollins fashion, he gave an example of why he’s No. 1.
But, the question still remains: What’s next for Seth Rollins?
