WWE SmackDown Review: Results, Analysis, Grades; Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose

Seth Rollins Interview
Jojo interviews Rollins about Kane’s return and Seth’s match against Ambrose. Rollins says that Kane is a living breathing demon. Kane was standing right behind Rollins but he never noticed. Rollins says he’s not worried about Ambrose because he’s faced him many times before and he’ll do the same thing he does to him every time: destroy him.
Non-Title Match: Seth Rollins vs Dean Ambrose
Result: Dean Ambrose defeats Seth Rollins via pinfall (roll-up).

Ambrose gets control of the match to start, grounding Rollins with headlocks. Ambrose dropkicks Rollins to the outside as we take a quick break.
Back from the break and Rollins is in control. During the break, Rollins hit a double foot stomp to a hanging Ambrose near the ring steps. Ambrose manages to get Rollins on the outside, but when he goes for a suicide dive Rollins catches him right in the face. Rollins hits a flying knee off the top rope for a two count. The two men trade chops, but Rollins catches Ambrose with a kick right to the jaw for a two count.
Ambrose gets pushed back, but hits his rebound clothesline to Rollins and both men are down.Ambrose pops to his feet and hits jabs and chops to the WWE World Heavyweight champ. He hits a double underhook suplex from the top rope but Rollins kicks out at two. Ambrose and Rollins trade pinning combinations until Ambrose dumps Rollins over the top. He hits the suicide dive through the ropes, and then a fisherman suplex in the ring, but Rollins kicks out again.
Rollins and Ambrose trade strikes in the middle of the ring, but Rollins catches Ambrose with a Sling Blade. He sets up the Pedigree, but Ambrose escapes from it. The two bump the ref into the corner and while the ref can’t see pokes Ambrose in the eye. Rollins hits the Buckle Bomb on Ambrose, but Kane’s pyro goes off. Rollins begins looking at the ring waiting for Kane to pop out of the mat. Ambrose takes advantage of the distraction and rolls up Rollins for the 3 count. Kane is shown backstage watching the match.
Rollins grabs a mic and asks Kane where he is and asks Kane if he knows who he is messing with. Rollins asks Kane if he saw what Rollins did to Sting at Night of Champions.No matter what Kane says or does, Rollins is still the champ. Rollins poses in the ring as Kane watches from the back to end SmackDown.
