Dean Ambrose

From this list, Ambrose definitely has the least likely chance of winning the Royal Rumble. He’s not fully considered a “consistent main-event talent” by WWE, as he’s only headlined “B” shows like WWE Hell in a Cell, WWE Elimination Chamber and WWE Money in the Bank. Having him headline WrestleMania 32 would be a huge stretch.

Ambrose doesn’t fit any of the criteria for a Royal Rumble winner. But why would he have a chance?

The popular choice of the fans is for a Shield triple threat main event for WrestleMania 32. They want to see Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins wrestle each other for the first time on the main roster (see FCW match here). It would be a great one-time-only thing to happen on the grandest stage of them all. Plus, it’s a fresh, exciting and fun match up that makes sense to do.

This would mean either Reigns or Rollins comes into this as WWE World Heavyweight Champion. The latter is the current title holder but Sheamus looms with Money in the Bank. Would Rollins still find a way to walk into WrestleMania the champion?
