Swagger is one of those guys that makes fans ask “Do they even work for WWE anymore?” Well, it’s time for him to leave the likes of Damien Sandow, Brad Maddox, and R-Truth. It’s time for Jack Swagger to get back to the flagship shows, and to challenge John Cena for the United States Championship.

Swagger was rumored to receive a big push a few years ago until he got stuck with a DUI. Bad Swagger, bad. But I think he’s done his time. He avoided jail, but he was sentenced to the WWE equivalent of jail, appearing strictly on Main Event and Superstars for the last few years. But he wouldn’t have been considered for a push if he didn’t have the talent for it.

Again, it seems like a lot of heels are busy right now, and with Swagger not only being a heel, but also being known as the All-American American, there may not be a better fit to challenge for the United States Championship as far as his gimmick is concerned. And, like Breeze, Swagger could cheat to win, possibly with the help of Zeb Coulter, and not damage Cena’s reputation.
