Cena says “the champ is here.” Cena says he’s going to defend the WWE U.S. title right now.
New Day then comes out and calls Cena’s reign “booty.” Big E says they’re here to make WWE great again. He hypes up their WWE Tag Team Championship match this Saturday at the WWE MSG show. They then mocked Cena with “Hustle, Loyalty, Booty.” New Day then chooses Xavier Woods to wrestle.

Result: John Cena defeats Xavier Woods via disqualification to retain the WWE United States Championship.

Cena hit Woods with a clothesline right away, sending him to the outside.
New Day then tried to use the numbers game against Cena but it failed. Cena dropped Woods with a suplex. The referee then sent Big E and Kofi Kingston to the locker room.
We come back to see Cena planting Woods and hitting the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Woods would get Cena down with a kick to the head for a near-fall.
The two would meet at the top rope as Cena went for the AA. However, Woods got down. Cena would miss a cross-body, get hit with a DDT and nearly get pinned by Woods.
Woods then got caught with a sit-down powerbomb from Cena for a near-fall. Woods then hit a kick to the gut and the nose. He then hit a reverse suplex for a near-fall.
Cena would catch a move from Woods and plant him for a near-fall. Cena would look for the AA but Woods countered and took him down by the arm for a near-fall. Woods then took down Cena again for another near-fall.
Woods went for a move off the top rope but got planted with a clothesline. Cena locked in the STF until Kofi and Big E ran in and caused a DQ.
The Dudley Boyz then came out and cleaned house. We are seemingly getting a six-man tag match next.
Rob’s Note: This was one of the weaker of the U.S. Open Challenges. Woods looked a little sloppy in the ring. He also has barely wrestled, so what should we have expected?
